Behavior of Materials under Mechanical Stress

Analysis of material behavior under mechanical stress covers elastic/plastic response, time-dependent phenomena (creep, relaxation), fatigue and fracture. Multiscale experiments and models link microstructure, dislocation dynamics and constitutive laws to predict lifetime and deformation response.
