Women@DGM
The DGM women network Women@DGM is an initiative of the German Materials Society (DGM) to promote professional exchange and networking among female DGM members and female representatives from research and industry of the international MSE community. Starting with the DGM Lunch Talk 2021, events on this topic are regularly held online and on-site under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Zimmermann. "Women Breakfasts" at conferences, a virtual “New Year's Brunch” and a first “Empowerment Workshop” led by Dr. Blanka Lenczkowski. have shown that the demand to network in the women's MSE community is high. The current DGM President, Prof. Dr. Birgit Skrotzki confirms her commitment to continue the women's network in the DGM.
Through the Women@DGM Committee, we offer our registered attendees the opportunity to share ideas, network, and stay informed about regular events for the advancement of women in DGM.
