Expert Committee

Behavior of Materials under Mechanical Stress

Committee members: 347

The DGM Expert Committee includes discussion, project initiation and project support on the mechanical, thermomechanical and tribological behavior of materials. It revolves around the scientific penetration of the relationships between production, microstructure and properties of materials and the analysis of the stress-induced change in the microstructure and the resulting changes in properties. The Expert Committee provides a forum for scientists from universities, research institutes and industry to exchange experiences and network. The promotion of young scientists takes place through intensive project discussion.
