Mit einer Gesamtfördersumme von rund 4,8 Millionen Euro zielt das Projekt darauf ab, die Fertigung mit einer klimaneutralen und digitalisierten laserbasierten Oberflächenfunktionalisierung für komplexe Bauteile zu revolutionieren. Ein Konsortium aus 13 Mitgliedsinstitutionen sechs europäischer Länder, darunter Spanien, Frankreich, Großbritannien, Österreich, Irland und Deutschland, und der UK arbeiten im interdisziplinären Austausch an den sechs Projektzielen. We are excited to be part of the diverse team of experts and play our part in this journey.
2. What do you expect from the CLASCO-project?
Building on our many years of experience in 3D Printing titanium, now is the time to help advance the End-to-End Value Stream with development of a laser-based surface functionalization technology as part of the CLASCO-project.
3. What experience and/or expertise do you bring?
At DePuy Synthes, our mission is to keep people moving through innovations in orthopaedic surgery, support and education for providers. To achieve this mission, we need to continually scout, research, develop and test the latest manufacturing technologies in line with our Credo values.
